Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE

Under guidance from the Marketing Director, Interns will assist with the creation of marketing campaigns for Tonka United. The position is accountable to the Marketing Director, and the Directors of the organization. Interns will meet regularly with the Marketing team to be assigned projects and discuss the status of current projects. Interns will primarily be taking videos and photos with interns’ own equipment, then editing them for marketing campaigns.

This job has a full-time pathway for excelling individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLES

• Collection of images, video, and materials to be used in all marketing programs
• Design, produce, and distribution of marketing materials
• Conduct market and trend research for social media and websites
• Assist in development of new marketing projects
• Learn and work toward improving the Tonka United SEO/SEM ranking
• Learn and work toward improving the Tonka United brand awareness and social engagement
• Photography, Videography, and Editing for Tonka United

JOB SKILLS

• Proven writing skills
• Proficient in Google/Microsoft office suite
• Experience with digital marketing
• Knowledge of the most common social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, X, YouTube)
• Video and Photo Editing Skills with Adobe, or like tools
• Knowledge of SEO, preferred not required
• Knowledge of Influence Marketing, preferred not required
• Must demonstrate initiative to see projects through to completion with limited supervision
• Comfortable working independently with children of all ages
• Ability to operate photography/video equipment
• Own photography/video equipment, preferred not required
• Own photography/video editing software, preferred not required
• Experience in Sport or Action Sport photography, preferred not required

REQUIREMENTS

• Pass a background check
• Completion of online Heads-Up concussion course
• Completion of online Safe Sport course
• Reliable transportation, insured
• Potential statewide travel
