At TX-STAR Speech Language Services, we partner with school districts across Texas to support students with speech and language needs. We are currently hiring Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based opportunities in the El Paso area.

This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student communication development while working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

What You’ll Do

As an SLPA in a school setting, you will support the delivery of speech and language services to students with a variety of communication needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP

  • Support students in achieving IEP goals through structured interventions

  • Provide direct and/or group therapy services to students

  • Assist with documentation of student progress and therapy sessions

  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized records

  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Support students with a range of communication needs (articulation, language, fluency, etc.)

  • Follow district guidelines and compliance standards

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field

  • Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

  • Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Valid Texas driver’s license (if travel between campuses is required)

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
