Job Description

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the strategy, positioning, and messaging, go-to market strategy and execution of marketing all initiatives for the company's portfolio of flooring tools and related products. This role serves as the bridge between product management, sales, and marketing, ensuring products are effectively positioned in the market, supported with compelling messaging, and aligned with customer needs to drive revenue growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product introductions, including pricing strategy, channel strategy, and promotional plans.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies to support business objectives, including product launches, line extensions, and lifecycle management.
  • Partner closely with product management to translate product features into clear, differentiated customer value propositions.
  • Work with the product management team to align the roadmap with all market opportunities
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the flooring tools industry.
  • Create and manage high-impact marketing materials, including packaging, sell sheets, catalogs, digital content, and in-store merchandising.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop tools and programs that drive sell-in and sell-through across key retail and distribution partners.
  • Support major retail accounts (e.g., big-box and specialty flooring channels) with tailored marketing programs and content.
  • Analyze product performance, campaign effectiveness, and customer insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, and social media campaigns to increase product visibility and demand.
  • Oversee agency partners and vendors as needed for creative development, packaging, and campaign execution.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and customer service to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
  • Analyze competitors and develop differentiation strategies
  • Gather and synthesize customer insights

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience (five plus years) as a Marketing Manager or similar role, preferably in the flooring industry.
  • Solid understanding of flooring tool products, their applications, and the competitive landscape.
  • Experience developing marketing materials and product packaging.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns that drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market research and data to drive actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive marketing materials and present ideas effectively.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
