Job Description

Join the team as a Production Supervisor! Are you a hands-on leader with expertise in die cutting? We are  looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our team in Shawnee, KS. If you have a passion for safety, quality, and mentorship, we want to hear from you.

The Details
  • Pay: $25–$35/hr (Depending on Experience)

  • Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Type: Full-Time

  • Location: Shawnee, KS

What You’ll Do As a Production Supervisor, you aren’t just sitting in an office—you are the heartbeat of the floor. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading by Example: Provide education and leadership to your department staff.

  • Technical Expertise: Set up and operate die cutting presses and perform detailed inspections.

  • Team Management: Coordinate work assignments, monitor productivity, and oversee staff training.

  • Quality & Safety: Maintain 100% commitment to safety protocols and ensure all products meet high quality standards.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures 
  • Setup and operating of die cutting presses and perform detailed inspection of setups and first products.
  • Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvement.
  • Maintains expected business level of quality control on all items produced.
  • Performs other related duties as required 
  • Coordinate production department staff work assignments
  • Coordinate and review production staff training 
  • Monitor and report production staff productivity

The essential functions of this role include:
  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • standing for 8 hours at one time
Skills
  • Safety (5 years of experience is preferred)
  • Quality Control (5 years of experience is preferred)
