Position: Non-CDL Driver (Part-Time)
Work Location: Albany NY 12205
Payrate: $22.00/hr
Duration: 3 Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: Tuesday & Thursday: 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
Monday Wednesday Friday: Flexible shifts based on delivery needs
Job Description:
Safely operate a company box truck in compliance with all driving policies
Pick up and deliver merchandise in a timely safe and courteous manner
Load and organize orders for efficient delivery routes
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and arrival times
Collect payments and obtain required signatures upon delivery
Assist with warehouse operations including picking packing inventory loading/unloading and organization
Coordinate with branch staff to support current and future orders
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of delivery driving experience (box truck preferred)
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Active DOT Medical Card in good standing
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
