WA State Licensed Home Inspector

Home Inspector (Full-Time) – Marysville, Arlington, Mt Vernon. North of Seattle to Bellingham.

Key Inspection Services is growing fast, and we’re looking for licensed Home Inspectors to join our expanding team across Western WA.

Job Type:  Full-Time (Weekends required)

Pay: $80,000+ per year (based on performance and workload)

Schedule:

  • 2 Inspections a day, 5 days a week or more.
  • Some evenings & every other weekend work.

Experience:

  • None is needed; you need to hold a home inspector license.

License/Certification:

  • Washington State Home Inspector License (required or in the process of getting the license)
  • Driver’s License (required)

Compensation:

$82,000 - $130,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough home inspections with precision and attention to detail, ensuring clients receive comprehensive reports.
  • Utilize advanced tools and technology, including drones and IR cameras, to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate findings clearly and effectively to clients, fostering trust and understanding throughout the inspection process.
  • Collaborate with real estate agents to schedule inspections, ensuring timely service and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations to provide clients with the most accurate information.
  • Complete inspection reports promptly using our streamlined software, allowing you to maximize your time and focus on client service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to expand your skills and advance your career within the company.
  • Evaluate sewer lines and describe conditions and issues found in the sewer line systems.
  • Able to get certification for mold & air quality testing, training will be provided for this skill.
Qualifications:
  • A current Washington State Home Inspector License is required, or in the process of getting a license.
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings to clients, fostering trust and understanding.
  • Experience using advanced inspection tools and technology, including drones and IR cameras.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with real estate agents and clients.
  • Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using streamlined software to complete inspection reports promptly and efficiently.
  • An understanding of sewer systems and how to inspect the systems.
  • An understanding of molds and air quality testing to provide this additional service.
