Are you a hands-on accounting leader ready to make an impact? We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function, drive process improvements, and provide strategic financial leadership.

? What You’ll Do

As the Controller, you’ll oversee the company’s accounting operations while mentoring a high-performing team and ensuring financial integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and strong internal controls.
• Manage and develop the Accounting team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Staff Accountant .
• Establish, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare and oversee monthly and annual financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop and manage cash flow projections to support business operations.
• Recommend KPIs and financial benchmarks to improve organizational performance.
• Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Represent the finance department with professionalism across the organization and within the community.

? What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( CPA is a plus ).
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Strong leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills.
• Experience with AS400 or Navision preferred.
• Background in oilfield equipment, manufacturing, or distribution highly preferred.
