Cloud Software Architect will architect the modernization of enterprise-class software applications. They will work in coordination with Agile development teams and other stakeholders to architect, design, build, migrate, expand, automate, and sustain a large, multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise. The
Cloud Software Architect will leverage their experience in cloud software architecture to design and direct the development of this exciting new solution.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a
Cloud Software Architect, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our federal customers. You will play a crucial role via the following:
- Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions
- Maintains the integrity and security of systems
- Supports and develops automation
- Develops in languages such as Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js
- Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Composes and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, et al.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The
Cloud Software Architect must have:
Education: - Training, Certificate, or Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering or relevant experience preferred
Experience: 10+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing
Required Skills: - Proficiency in the following languages: Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing one of the following: Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Linux OS experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization
- Extensive SDLC experience
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization
Required Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
Security Clearance Level: Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust.

The likely salary range for this position is $195,240 - $264,148. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Travel Required: Less than 10%
